An example to us all

Have you heard the story about a non-saint saint who paid bribes for safety and had pigs run when he prayed. A man who stood against slavery and was a religious culture setter. A guy who went to a debauched, illiterate, perverted, violent, drunken, sex addicted, kidnapping people and poured out his life to transform more than one fifth of their clans. Someone who seen the value of orthodoxy over tradition, service over comfort and God over everything. He was an early Harry Houdini of escape artists and a William Carey of missions and a testament to the fact that life begins at 40. A faith healer, an exorcist, a preacher, a musician, a baptizer and an explanation innovator. Adopted by the Irish and rejected by the Romans. Today loved by millions and understood by a few.
