What is health care like for us?

While we have lived here in the Philippines Louise has found herself in hospital a few times (we have had our kids here) and with doctors other times. I (Mark) have also found myself at a doctors office (mainly an orthopedic doctor or physio 🙂 ) quite a few times. We also have had our normal share of kids illnesses and vaccinations. So what is it like for us here with the health care system? How does it compare to the UK?

A friend of ours has written a neat overview of her experience recently while going through some health issues which I think is really interesting and accurate. I wanted to share it so you guys can get a better picture of our life here.

Personally Louise and I have been very happy with the health care we receive here. Praise God that we are blessed with health insurance and have not had to worry about the bills.
