Fun with Granny McFarland – Eden Nature Park

We had a lovely day at Eden Nature Park. It’s about an hours drive away from our house. It’s always a joy to go to this place, to get out of the city and into the mountains and enjoy some beautiful scenery and cooler temperatures.

We took a bus tour around the park that allowed us to stop at some of the different gardens…

and the traditional tribal houses. Ewan and Lydia enjoyed playing the traditional instruments.

Daddy was very popular on the bus and I thought it would be a good chance to get a photo of my three lovely’s together. This is what I got!

Happy face…

For some reason Granny declined getting into this gorgeous pool. At 3000ft above sea level it was what you might call refreshing!

We had a quick ride on the ponies

and zipline before heading home.

  1. so did he do the really HIGH zipline too? Great fun and that is a gorgeous pool! and there never seems to be anyone in it! when ever we have gone to it, we are the only ones there …which is also kinda nice.

  2. We loved the fact that we were the only ones in the pool! The kids didn’t last that long though as they started to shiver:) Ewan didn’t go on the high zipline this time although he did it last time we went. We told him he had to choose the big zipline or the ponies and the ponies won this time.
